Should the map be attributed to O.S. or G.S.,G.S?

Subject: Churchill in The Great War (aka 'First World War'): today's 'TheTimes'
Odd-numbered page, top half, has illustrated feature about the shell that missed Winston Churchill during his January 1916 onwards stint at ‘the Front’. Right-hand edge coloured image is of a portion of a map (obviously, ‘any old map will do’ editorial attitude . . .).
Why not helpfully supply the caption with the information it is from a War Office trench map series at 1:10 000, sheet 28SW4 ‘Ploegsteert’, produced (but marginalia omitted!) by Ordnance Survey Office any time from ca July 1915? Someone (not the undersigned) could offer a ‘Letter to the Editor’ .
