Good Day Librarians, Information Professionals....
Apologies for Cross-Posting.
I am a British science librarian and author of the exciting book about libraries and books called "Library World Records" several of you have probably heard about or read. The 2nd edition of the book was published in 2009 in the U.S, details at http://www.lwrw.org
My book has been widely read by librarians around the world from Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe to the Americas, and I am now eagerly finishing up a brand new and expanded 3rd edition of the reference book with my U.S. publishers.
I am currently seeking photographs from libraries, library associations and universities around the world (U.K., Europe, U.S.A, Asia, Africa, Australia where ever!) to use in this book project. I have a carefully chosen list of 185 very important libraries, library associations and universities around the world, that I would like to have photographs for my new book due in later in 2016. My complete manuscript is ready, I just need 85 more photographs for the new book, then off they all go to my publishers via Fedex!!.
Can I ask for you all for help. Please email me any photographs you have, taken any where in the world, of a library, library association, university library, public library etc... (photographs of the building from outside) to use in my new book.
Any photograph(s) sent to me will be acknowledged in my book in respect to copyright. I will add below any photograph(s) used in the book you send me, the copyright symbol © followed by a credit line or the name of the owner of the photograph(s).
I would very much like to have a high resolution photograph that is at least 800 x 600 or more in resolution so that the photograph will look good in my new book. Photographs less than 640 X 480 in resolution look too small when used in a book and only used in websites.
I hope to find 85 more photographs for my new book by early May 2016.
Please feel free to send me the photographs via this email: [log in to unmask]
Thank you very much for you cooperation in advance. I will acknowledge receipt of each image right away.
Sincerely yours,
Godfrey Oswald
