We are with NCFE.
On the whole we are getting on ok with them, but the pros and cons are:
No feedback from tests - there is a 6 day turnaround time for results so this is why - you get the % for online tests but nada for paper tests
Hunting for results can be a nightmare on their portal as you need keep track of all the batch numbers
Ideally you need to give 15 working days for papers - they will charge for late entries
Online IT tests - they have proved somewhat problematic and we are not sure if this is down to the students or the NCFE software - but only our apprentices are put in for these. We may go down the paper route rather than online.
They will email results out to us on a very regular basis which is easier and quicker than our always looking.
On the whole, a positive experience, and to be honest, they are all much of a muchness if you ask me.

Subject: Functional Skills
Hi All
We are looking at going from City and Guilds to NCFE for Functional skills, and I was wondering what you think about them, and your experiences good or bad.
Many thanks for any replies at this busy time.
