Dear All,
Our lab currently has Siemens TnI ultra assay and we report TnI results in ug/L and use 6 hours rule out protocol for AMI. I am interested if any of you has changed the reporting units of this particular assay to ng/L and are using the 3 hours instead of the 6 hours protocol, does it work in practice as Siemens suggests and was there any challenges to changing the units of reporting?
I am also interested to learn if any of you are using a different Troponin I assay, other than the high sensitivity TnI, and are reporting in ng/L.
Many thanks in anticipation.
