Dear Chuck,
Your point about the need to focus on how designers actually think is the
key for me.
Peirce analysed how people actually went about thinking in situations and
pointed out the significance of Abduction.
Aristotle analysed how people actually argue and talked about the
enthymeme.
We must start with the gross presumption that designers DO think.
How refreshing!
