Dear everyone,
The Geological Survey of Norway has a one-year temporary researcher position open (equivalent to a postdoc) starting early 2016. We are looking for someone with experience in rifted margins research. Some experience in numerical modelling would be a plus, but is certainly not a must. The full advertisement text follows below.
Please apply at: http://www.ngu.no/en/page/vacancies I would recommend to also upload a letter and cv as a pdf to the online form. The deadline is soon, already at 11 January!
For any questions, just send me an e-mail at [log in to unmask] (please do not reply to the list). As one clarification, the advertisement mentions good communication skills in English and Norwegian as a necessity. While that is certainly the case for English, we do not require that for Norwegian for a one-year employment.
With best wishes for 2016!
Susanne
