Hi Anderson,
Thanks for your response. It is for the first level. Participants see a series of images in three different categories, and each image has a rating displayed underneath. Originally, I was interested in the difference between highly rated and low rated images. Now, I'm interested in which brain areas increase (or decrease) in activation as rating increases. I'm not necessarily looking to test the interaction between image type and rating, but I do want to test the effect of rating for each individual image type.
What would be the best way to post the design -- upload the fsf file somewhere, or include a picture? The EVs and contrasts are pretty horrible looking because I have several control variables in the model - I end up with 22 EVs, although only the first 6 are the EVs relevant to this question. Here is a picture of the contrasts from the original design. The three image types are "Self" "Risk" and "NR" and each is divided into "high" and "low" rating. The EVs are (in order): NR-high, NR-low, Risk-high, Risk-low, Self-high, Self-low. Now, instead of comparing high vs low rating for each type of image, I want to look at rating as a continuous variable.

Thanks so much!
