Considering I was rudely not referred to directly and *was called an
empathy-impaired misogynist *I would say my arrogance deserves some
leniency.
Like I said to someone else in a private reply (I have tried not to carry
petty discussions in public):
"I have to say I struggle to see in what way my questions were aggressive.
Being an academic, I'm used to robust intellectually challenging debates.
Questions about definitions of concepts and ideas are a part of that. I was
genuinely curious about the workshop, addressed Mariam in all politeness
and even wished her good luck in the endeavour."
Apparently asking questions and even challenging ideas is frowned upon by
several persons in this list; but then again these are the same people who
have accused me of being "privileged" even though they have absolutely no
idea whatever about my background. I really can't wait to cash in on those
privilege checks.
Since all of you have resorted to try to insult me, instead of addressing
my arguments I will claim that
"My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended
against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, any place, any time. And
anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line,(...)"
(you can google the rest of the quote.)
Cheers
