Thanks for this, Ken. Nice to hear such enthusiasm for the book.
From the perspective of the publisher, it's an exciting title for us. We publish widely in Research Methods and Methodology (across the social sciences etc) but this is the first time we've focused specifically on design, and on a book specifically for design students and professionals.
I know Gjoko worked with the commissioning editor here for several years on developing this project. Been a long time coming, but worth the wait I hope. The aim was a book that will help further develop the field of design as a rigorous, evidence-based academic discipline. I think Gjoko has judged the scope and tone really well.
As Ken says, any queries feel free to drop me a line directly.

Subject: Research for Designers
Dear Colleagues,
Some time ago, I mentioned that Gjoko Muratovski’s Research for Designers is a serious and useful survey on research and research methods written specifically for the needs of designers. Full disclosure: I wrote the foreword. When I read the manuscript, I found this book to be what I look for in a survey text.
The book is published by Sage. The book web site is at URL:
https://uk.sagepub.com/en-gb/eur/research-for-designers/book241495
Sage has released a sampler with the Table of Contents, the Foreword, and the Preface. You can download this from Gjoko Muratovski’s Academia page at URL:
https://tongji.academia.edu/GjokoMuratovski
A significant number of universities and design schools are already adopting Muratovski’s as a text. If you wish to consider this book for use in your courses, Sage will provide you with an examination copy.
Just contact Michael Ainsley at Sage:

In my view, Research for Designers is a major contribution to the future of our field. You can order an examination copy of the book to reach your own conclusion.
Yours,
Ken
