We have had the same problem.
We got a message from Innovative as follows:
The Encore team has received reports of intermittent issues with retrieving EDS results in Encore Duet. Please be assured we are working with our partners at EBSCO to address what appears to be access problems to the EDS API. Our only recourse at this time is to restart the Encore application upon your report, so please contact the Innovative Help Desk if you experience this behavior.

We're having problems too, it's happened twice now as far as I know. III think it's an EBSCO problem, but we contacted EBSCO and they said that everything is fine at their end.

Is anyone out there experiencing problems with their Encore Duet service? We have had 3 incidents of EDS not feeding results into Duet this week. III think this is related to the Ebsco EDS connection failing.
However, I have not seen anything about this on any of the Ebsco lists so just wondering if it is just me?
