We had that problem in the past while running through proxy. Couple years ago we bypassed proxy and it was all fine. Unfortunately our network settings have changed two weeks ago and last two weeks were really difficult with freezing AATs. 
Hopefully this or next week we will go back to settings bypassing proxy and it will be all okay again.

Check your network settings guys.

Yes despite installing the patch, we are still having freezing issues. I think the patch may need a patch!

AAT sent an update on 23 October to say you need to install a patch (see below). Our upgrade did not work until we had done this. Having said that we have still had some issues with screens freezing.

Important information regarding your version of SecureClient



If you are running SecureClient with a version number of 11.004.114.000, you are required to run an updater patch to ensure that you have the most up to date version on your PCs. Details of the steps that you must take are provided from Step 11 on Page 7 of the Post-SecureAssess downtime guide<http://emails.aat.org.uk/re?l=D0Iyqj9w5I9p4mlf0Ir>. Please share this with your IT department to ensure the update has been taken successfully.

Following the update, you should also clear your browser cache as per page 3 of the above guide. Upon successful installation, the updated version number will now show as 11.006.073.002.

Failure to install the most up to date version of SecureClient may have an impact on the submission of your students' assessments.
