Subject: STARD 2015 released
Dear colleagues,
Happy to announce that STARD 2015 was released yesterday.
STARD is a list of essential items that should be included in every article reporting on the diagnostic accuracy of medical tests.
The original STARD reporting guideline appeared in 2003. The update was prepared by and extended STARD group, consisting of 85 researchers, editors, journalists and other stakeholders. It includes new items and reformulates existing ones, to make STARD easier to use.
Read more in a manuscript that describes STARD and the updating process.
Available on
The EQUATOR website: http://www.equator-network.org/reporting-guidelines/stard/
And in the following journals:
BMJ: http://www.bmj.com/content/351/bmj.h5527 (open)
Clinical Chemistry: http://www.clinchem.org/content/early/2015/10/14/clinchem.2015.246280.abstract
Radiology: http://pubs.rsna.org/doi/full/10.1148/radiol.2015151516 (open)

Patrick
