Linda, we too are reviewing our registration processes so I was wondering, did you get many responses to this question? Do you still ask for ID when joining new members?

Subject: ID for membership
Hello
Here in Cornwall we are reviewing our joining process and are interested in removing the requirement for identification to be shown at the point of registration.
If anyone is already doing this, I would be grateful if you could share your experience, particulary around computer audit.
Also whether you still require ID for under 16s and if not, how you have managed age restricted loans, should the child choose to falisfy thier age on application.
Willing to share collated responses, if any one is interested.
thanks
