Tis sad news indeed, I was at CXH 1977-79 and remember Adam being very supportive and approachable. The "Parallel" was just coming in as I was leaving, up to then it was good old continuous flow (12 channels I seem to recall) manic graticule manipulation and the SMA 6/60 which actually went at 6/120 thanks to the magic O'Donovan box and curve regeneration.
Fond memories of those days.

Subject: Re: Sad news regarding Prof Adam Fleck
This is sad news as I remember Adam fondly from the early 1980's when I was working with all of you in the lab at Charing Cross installing and running up the "Parallel" analyser.
Adam and I worked together on many aspects of this project over several years he was a great inspiration to me and my colleagues at the time.
Good bye to a great man indeed!
