Dear collective,
Our PICU is about to start using plasmalyte148 as first line fluid replacement. We previously performed a small scale study and found it had no obvious adverse effects on lab measurements of common tests, but numbers were small. I wonder if there are any labs with direct experience of wide scale use of plasmalyte 148? I am particularly interested in any effects you may have observed around assay interferences or artefacts.
I will compile any replies I receive and post them back here.
Thanks,
Chris
