Hi Jacqueline
BT, Barclays and the Society of Chief Librarians are working in partnership on a pilot to install free public wi-fi in up to 70 library sites across England. You can read the BT press release here: https://home.bt.com/news/bt-life/bt-and-barclays-join-forces-to-offer-free-wi-fi-in-libraries-and-community-centres-11363968585463. The nominated sites will be offered Barclays Digital Eagles support for library customers throughout the life of the pilot. Whilst we are in the planning stages of the project, which is expected to go live from July, I can provide you with a contact from the Barclays team if that would be helpful - just contact me directly.
Regards
Nick

Subject: Barclays Digital Eagles
I am interested to know if the Barclays Digital Eagles sessions that happen in their branches have any links with public libraries. There is no information of the Tea and Teach sessions happening in Scotland on their website but there are lots in England. Are any of you in partnership with Barclays or any other organisations for Digital Literacy? I am happy to collate the responses. Thanks in advance.
