Hi Craig,
We have had RLDB on all our lab PCs for a number of years. In the last 3 years we have noticed a steady increase in usage - all with no problems. Technically it "does what it says on the tin".
2 important things :
- students need to be clearly shown/practiced in clicking on this icon rather than normal browser when in the test (the last test we were involved with I would say half of the 150 students couldn't see the Blackboard test because of course it is only visible through the RLDB)
- you cannot use any other software once launched. So no good for tests needing Excel or similar.
Happy to discuss offline.

Subject: Respondus Lockdown Browser
Hi all
We are interested in the Respondus LockDown Browser as a method of securing high stakes online examinations. We wondered if any other institutions are using this, and if you have any thoughts about the tool, or can suggest an alternative?
Many thanks
