Dear Gunnar,
Yep, we must take credit - in the Post Grad relationship the credit
culturally gets expressed in acknowledgments both formal and informal -
but everyone knows.
In other kinds of work, credit is not always so obvious and sometimes it
is even denied.
As a person who interrupts a lot with left-field ideas, my ideas
frequently taken up but usually not acknowledged.
Some follower gets the badge which looks stupid on them and everyone who
was there knows but a false history emerges.
Go figure.
