The first part of this year’s conference weekend is at the Lucas Arms near Kings Cross, this evening:
http://gkpubs.co.uk/pubs-in-london/lucas-arms-pub/
This is includes but is not limited to the usual social, as the evening features a session organised by Larry Brownstein & Julian Wells discussing Thomas Piety’s work, between 7.15 and 8.30.
We have the upstairs function room booked for the whole evening. The meeting is in a pub, and we are certainly expecting beer to be drunk. However, there are likely to be practical problems if the pub staff are trying to bring in meals while the session is running.
IF YOU WANT TO EAT AT THE PUB, PLEASE EITHER ORDER EARLY, SO YOUR FOOD IS DELIVERED BY 7.15, OR WAIT UNTIL 8.30 (but NB they stop taking food orders at 9).
See you later ...
