Thanks for the head's up about this. We have been running AAT CBTs and found no problems before half term. We are running tests again next week.
BTW AAT are stating that SecureAssess will be down between 5 pm on 27th Feb until 6 am on the 28th and we need to run dummy tests to check the system afterwards. Let's all pray now....

We have been experiencing exactly the same issues with AAT and C&G freezing constantly. We have approached AAT and their response was:
Ask the candidates to do everything slowly – try not to scroll quickly or switch between questions rapidly Wait for the computer to respond – if a figure is taking a while to input into a box, be patient and wait for the computer to catch up
This was only received yesterday so we have yet to inform our students and test this theory. We have had to transfer our students from computer to computer throughout their exams but this is really not a suitable answer as this causes both the student and invigilator added stress.

We had this issue with AAT exams also run through SecureAssess and their technicians helped us saying students would be able to login to the website later to access results and that we could upload once the server was working properly again at their end. It did take us one hour to try to upload all results as we didn't want to take the risk in case it didn’t work. We had the same issue with tests freezing and our own IT person helped transfer the students to different PCs.

Is anyone having problems delivering exams with City & Guilds and OCR through SecureAssess?
I keep getting pop ups telling me the software cannot upload the results and because of this I haven't been able to get any results for approximately 10 students. I am also now having a problem with the tests freezing and I have to crash it and log onto another computer. City and Guilds IT haven't been very helpful and our IT technicians haven't any ideas either
