Applications from enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientists are
invited for the post of Principal Clinical Scientist in the Biochemical
Genetics Unit. The Unit provides Newborn Blood Spot Screening for East
Anglia, together with metabolic investigations for hospitals within this
area and further afield. You will be expected to participate in all
aspects of the metabolic and screening service, including clinical
liaison, teaching and training, as well as deputising for the director
in their absence, and involvement in strategic management and service
development. You must be HCPC registered as a Clinical Scientist and
hold FRCPath. A broad range of experience will be essential with a
proven scientific record, clear leadership skills and an ability to work
well as part of a team.
