Bill
Perhaps yours is an unknown phone number maybe a typo
Perhaps it should read 'S top' or St op' or just 'sto p'
Which could be very serious
Sto p
I blame Lawrence Upton

STOP
One word message
on my phone
left at 7.03,
unknown phone number,
followed by
Stop,
lower case,
at 8.04.
Different phone number,
also unknown.
Feel tempted to enquire,
of one, or both,
Just what exactly
is it you would have
me desist from doing.
o unknown one(s)?
But what if this leads
to some sort
of unstoppable scam,
jamming up my phone
for ever more?
Later, on Facebook,
I note an acquaintance
has posted Stop,
a song by The Spice Girls.
I play it a bit.
It's the drivel I expect.
Stop.
I didn't even know
I'd started.
