Dear,
My name is Iván Cano Gómez and am doing an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at Oxford University. I am interested in studying interventions that target gang-related violence in youths. My reading of this literature suggests that there is useful evidence from a wide variety of disciplines, perspectives that use a variety of different methodologies. I believe that such a diverse literature would lend itself to a meta-narrative review.
I have read the guidance document on the RAMESES website as well as numerous papers on meta-narrative reviews, but I was wondering if members of the RAMESES user list have any guidance for how to conduct a meta-narrative review in a short time frame (e.g. 3–5 months). I'm familiar with several papers that mention the possibility of "rapid realist reviews" but I wondered if meta-narratives can be conducted over a short time-frame?
Kind regards,
Iván
