I've also used the SNAFU video in training sessions for Oxford researchers (predominantly graduate students) on a number of occasions, and it's always gone down really well - it gets the message across effectively, and invariably makes people laugh.
I have to admit I probably wouldn't use the 'Introduction to the basics of research data' video in the same context. But then I don't think it's aimed at them.
