I've also used the Data Management SNAFU video a number of times in training sessions and it does go down well with most participants (from PhD students to professors). I suspect this partly has to do with how the video is framed and how long the training session is; I wouldn't use it in a short session with senior academics for example, but as part of an afternoon-long training session I think it offers a spot of light relief while consolidating some of the points we've already covered.
