Dear Colleagues,
This is to let you know about a new paper just posted to academia.edu entitled “Re-cognizing Components in A Theory of Design Thinking”. The paper explains how the kinds of information and modes of thought in A Theory of Design Thinking were developed and demonstrates how Referential Thinking can be used in critical thinking, analysis, generating new ideas, and in instrumental thought. It can be accessed by Googling academia.edu, Charles Burnette
I would like to thank Klaus Krippendorf for first hyphenating “Re-cognition” and thank all of you who have been among the 18,300 people who have viewed the 20 papers on Academia.edu. (The paper Issues, Assumptions, and Components... has made the top 1% of 30 day views and all the papers have a ranking .05% of 30 day views according to academia.edu.)
I don’t think I could have done better with a book!
Thanks again,
Chuck
