Hi Amedee,
You could select only those lines from the movie.star file that contain
particles that are also in the data.star file from the refinement. That
may already help.
If on top of top you also want to split the data.star file in N parts,
that would be OK. (You could then make N corresponding movie.star files).
This will work easiest with the polishing, i.e. when you skip rotational
searches in the movie refinement, and you only need the data.star from
there. After doing this N times, you could just combine all those.
