In Notts we've recently been running a summer school of sessions using Scratch delivered by Codasign.
Really successful and Scratch is very intuitive to use and has a great user interface.
I did find that it worked better in Google Chrome, which meant using Public use PCs and installing Chrome before each session.

Sorry- just a correction to my previous post. I meant to say that Scratch doesn't require installation- but there may be technical issues depending on web browser versions used on library pc's when using Scratch.
