Hi Andrea,
Most of the functionality that you are looking for is already in the app - have a look at the help pages, tutorial documents and videos for more information.
For the new stuff then just send money ; -)
I've answered your questions below.

Hi, this sounds interesting! How is this done? I just tried but I cannot find this function...
>ANSWER: In the same way as you enter data in most apps. Just tap on the box with the number and a number-pad will appear
One more suggestion: I might be wrong but you're missing a combined data type for fault kinematics, like dip azimut/dip/pitch, dip azimut/dip/rake or dip azimut/dip/slip vector trend/slip vector plunge.
>ANSWER: We can do this at some point. Just send money to get to the top of the queue.
I suggest rake in Aki and Richards format, but this is just a personal preference. Another useful possibility would be to add custom fields that can be used e.g. for joint aperture, mineralization, fault rocks, mineral assemblages, etc.
>ANSWER: in the pro version you can already add custom fields to the list of rock types/stratigraphy and then select a new symbol from the library.
Another feature that I really like is the possibility to georeference your measurements with the built in GPS (this works very well!) and show them on a map. So... which are the options to (1) import external maps and store them for off-line use (very often you have poor or no connection in the field), and (2) edit them (e.g. shapefile or move format).
>ANSWER: You can already import your own basemaps to work offline. Full instructions in the help pages and tutorials. For Apple devices you need to generate mbtiles - you can do this in Move or other applications. Let us know if you have any problems doing this. Not sure what you mean by editing the maps? You can move your data and change linework in the app or you can export everything to Move and then have access to lots more functionality.
Final question, if you would like to use your traditional compass and FieldClino just for recording data, showing them on a map, editing the map, and plotting/analysing data, maybe an android tablet (cheaper) or ipad is better than a phone, correct? Comments on this?
ANSWER: The app is built on the phone operating system, but it will scale up to larger Apple devices (iPAd and iPad mini). It will not work on Android tablets. I guess it depends on how good your eyesight is.
