There's a case report here
http://www.xperthr.co.uk/law-reports/disability-discrimination-disregarding-absence-triggers-in-attendance-policy-not-a-reasonable-adjustment/153155/
and I will be publishing a legal opinion on this in the August issue of OH journal. You can look at three XpertHR articles for free so you should be able to read the report above.
Hope that's useful

This is one I came across from the Facebook's UK Occupational Health Practitioners page:

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Equality Act - Adjustment to poor attendance trigger.
All,
I'm not sure if I imagined it, but has there been a recent posting advising that there was shortly to be a ruling on whether the above should be deemed as a suitable/reasonable adjustment? If so, can anyone refer me to a point of reference please and advise whether the ruling has been announced yet.
Regards,
Andy
