Hi Jeremy
I have no idea but would like to know as well. Because what I have seen so far is that most boards have designed the new A levels in such a way that there is an AS element not contributing to the A-level but a stand alone, but it covers a part of the full A level syllabus. I think most teachers would like to have a formal check after the first year. So I wonder about the costs as well.
Kind regards
Marjanne

Has anyone managed to find out how much the boards will be charging for the new linear AS and A levels? We're trying to do some curriculum planning in a vacuum and decisions like "all students will take the AS at the end of the first year in all subjects" could have quite a substantial financial implication. I can't imagine that the prices will stay the same if there is the potential for many less exams to be sat....
