Dear Colleagues,
between 27 and 29 May 2015 a conference on the Environmental Archaeology
of European cities will be organized. The themes that will be discussed
include urban site formation, urban environment, economic activities
within towns, and the personal life of the town inhabitants (see the
attachment for a more detailed description).
The meeting will take place at the Natural History Museum in Brussels
and is a co-organisation of that institute, the Archaeological Heritage
Service of the Brussels Capital Region, the Université Libre de
Bruxelles and the University of Leuven.
More information on the program and practicalities will follow.
Kind regards,
Clara Boffin
