Applications are invited for a position as associate professor/assistant professor in ID and Welfare Design at Design School Kolding in Denmark. The position is available from August 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter. The right candidate will be a part of the research department and will manage research and research based training within Industrial Design with particular focus on Welfare design.
Design School Kolding wants to be an international talent workshop for cultivating Danish Design. We want to provide our students with methods and tools, which enable them to develop as design professionals and to engage in new forms of collaborations. The school has a total of 323 students on BA, MA and PhD levels within the lines of Communication Design, Industrial Design, Accessory Design, Fashion and Textiles. In addition, the school offers postgraduate training, consultancy etc. to the business community and the public sector and also participates in a number of Development projects in design. The school has a special commitment to the value of social inclusion, sustainability and cultural diversity.
