Hi all
I've chatted with Jenn offline about this after spotting it on
Twitter, but I thought I'd post some quick thoughts here too.
This is very much like my new job, and you can see the description at
https://www.linkedin.com/jobs2/view/10729535
A few points to add that are a key part of my role:
Comms and documentation - I'm product owner for our end-user/developer
focussed site and documentation (currently in Beta -
labs.europeana.eu) which is not just documentation but highlights some
of the best content, has a gallery of existing apps, plus blog and
events for the latest news
Support beyond technical/API/developer stage - for example the
established Europeana Creative programme runs pilots (like the
Culture24 VanGoYourself site that was recently launched) and
challenges which extend to business incubation type work
Feeding back to content providers showing them the value of open
licenses, direct access to digital downloads etc etc etc ...
Always happy to chat further about this, either online or in person.
Cheers, James
