UKSG Managing Open Access: pain points and workflows
Wednesday 20 May 2014
The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, London SW1
Event summary
Are you working with Open Access on a daily basis? Would you benefit from
an event that allows you to share some of your practices and ‘pain points’
and learn from others in a range of institutions? Would you like to hear
from publishers and intermediaries, to know where they are with OA, and
listen to a range of short case studies?
Why you should attend
This practical one-day seminar is designed to facilitate sharing of
information and is aimed at those working with OA on a day-to-day basis in
institutions. Various stakeholders including publishers, librarians and
intermediaries will provide their perspectives on the OA model and its
impact on processes and workflows. Current projects and future developments
will also be covered. There will be plenty of time to share experiences and
to listen to case studies from a variety of institutions.
