Dear Lauriane,
a few weeks ago you requested for references on wolly mammoths containing osteometrical data. I had a similar problem recently and a palaeontological colleague suggested the following paper. It contains many osteometrical data of a nearly complete large mammoth bull found in Bavaria plus several references on further finds with metrical data.
Ziegler, Reinhard (1994): Das Mammut (Mammuthus primigenius BLUMENBACH) von Siegsdorf bei Traunstein (Bayern) und seine Begleitfauna. – Münchner Geowissenschaftliche Abhandlungen A 26, 49-80
I found the volume in a library but do not have a pdf.
Best
Christian

Dear all,
Does anyone recommend some publications on woolly mammoth? I found the Osteology for the archaeologist, from Olsen (1972) but I'm looking for more about morphological and osteometrical data on M. primigenius.
Best regards,
Lauriane
