Prohibition doesn't work.
It's almost tempting to offer a cheaper service, provide bespoke essays then submit the original to TurnitinUK, so that when the copy is handed in, there is conclusive evidence. A honey pot trap.
Unethical, of course, but it would undermine the copy shops, who from my own research often plagiarise, rather than actually writing the essays. I'd love a student taking these companies to court for fraud/breech of contract.

P.S. I did once have a student who had submitted a bespoke essay and was upset to find his cheating had been undermined by the essay bank cheating him!
