CERIC doctoral conference - University of Leeds
*Call for abstracts*
The Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC)
warmly invites postgraduate researchers at all stages of their studies
to attend and participate in our 2014 doctoral conference, to be held on
Wednesday 14th May 2014 at Leeds University Business School.
Abstracts are invited from a broad spectrum of employment relations
themes covering any aspect of:
* Work
* Employability
* Labour Markets
* Industrial relations / trade union movements
* Human resource management
We welcome presentations on any aspect of your research project and
offer a friendly and encouraging setting in which to present and discuss
your work in progress, or your research findings. At this stage, we
anticipate that the timing
allocation for oral presentations will be fifteen minutes, with ten
minutes for discussion afterwards. This will be confirmed once all
submissions have been assessed and a final number of speakers has been
agreed.
A poster session will also be held which is an ideal opportunity for
first year students to showcase their work. Buffet refreshments will be
available.
If you are interested in presenting (oral or poster) please submit an
abstract of up to 300 words by Friday 11th April 2014 to Danat Valizade,
a member of the organising committee, via e-mail: [log in to unmask]
Notification of acceptance will be sent by Friday 18th April and the
programme will be finalised nearer the date of the conference.
CERIC is pleased to offer a prize for the best presentation, which will
be the costs (up to £500) to cover attendance at a leading national
conference of the student’s choice. There is also a prize of £100 for
the best poster.
