This KPI refers to "critical results communication".
I would not consider being made available on the computer system "actively" communicated
Kind regards
Helen

If we're talking 90-97% that means all routine requests.
Define "actively"
Aren't they actively communicated by the computer system? So they're communicated as soon as they're ready.

Subject: RCPath KPIs
"The current RCPath KPIs require a biannual response to this statement:
Percentage of biochemistry, ....................... requests phoned/actively communicated by laboratory within 2 hours of result being available to the laboratory (includes out of hours): 90% by Apr 2012 increasing to 97% by Apr 2014"
Hi,
Has anyone attempted to measure this and if so how?
Regards, David
