I am developing a fMRI task in which I would like to include 2 jitters.
One trial looks like this: Stimulus (5000ms) >> Waiting screen (jittered) >> Feedback (2000 ms) >> Fixationcross (jittered)
We are interested in the both the event stimulus and feedback.
How can we optimize the two jitters in this design?
As far as I know, OPTSEQ can provide an optimal jitter, but I could not figure out whether OPTSEQ can provide two lists of jitters when the time between the jitters is not the same. Is this possible? And in other words, does it even make sense to make two separate, independent jitterlists with OPTSEQ or is it not useful because only one of the two lists is optimal anyway?
I would really like to have your input. Thanks in advance!
