Good grief!  Have you considered pioneering open air exams in the car park, Sophie?

We are hiring our local leisure centre for the 660 we have got doing GCSE English....it hasn't proved to be as expensive as we first thought.

We are all bandying around these large numbers - can I ask everyone what increase that is from last year?  We had 120 doing GCSE English and 128 doing GCSE Maths last year, now 660 for English and 475 Maths...

I hope everyone enjoyed the Exams Officers Conference last week.  I took part in Chris Hemming's session and there was a lady who mentioned that she had 2,500 students sitting in one morning.  Please can I ask if Chris or the lady herself could tell me which college she is from.  We thought 1,200 students was a lot for one session and I would really like some info on how she is managing it.
