SCL does truly admirable work, and we understand the desire to put out
some positive news about public libraries.
But SCL's bland Newspeak, and its apparent view that all library users
everywhere love what's going on, play right into the limp hands of Ed
'Libraries are Thriving' Vaizey.
Without library users, it seems, nobody would be speaking out clearly
on the value of librarians! (By the way, what is CILIP saying?)
