Dear colleagues,
We at UC Davis are working to put together a course on Ancient Animals and People. It will be a lower division course aimed at engaging non-Anthropology/non-Archaeology students (including targeting students from our Agricultural College) - a broad survey of how we can look at human/animal interactions through time and across space, especially using archaeological perspectives.
Because the potential topics and case studies are almost limitless, we are looking to narrow the field. Does anyone teach such a course? And if so, would you be willing to share your syllabus? What is your favorite case study?
Thank you all,
Teresa
