Hi Terry:
If you are doing work in the context of helping organizations and societies without assuming at the outset that the problem is products, service or experience related then you might be doing what we are looking for...:-)
We are of course assuming that what it might look like, what it might be called going to market is not one thing but many so we keep the options open with the upfront framing as a constraint.
If you are doing work where multiple humans, from multiple tribes, or disciplines are involved in the process, whatever you might call that process this might fit.
Challenges at this scale often involve facilitation of many points of view rather than just advocacy of one. As far as we can tell no graduate or post graduate institution based design academy has even begun to consider the consequences of the shift from one to the other. Most are still teaching the one dimensional channel of design as advocacy often mistakenly calling that facilitation. (See When [Old Design Thinking] LOVE is Not Enough previously posted in this thread.)
Those who would like to be considered for inclusion in The OTHER Design Thinking virtual book can send us one or two project description examples in confidence.
One challenge is that projects of this type are often highly confidential, strategic and photography is sometimes difficult.
We are hearing this from several people already and certainly know this to be true in our own work. Never-the-less we are trying in this virtual book to assemble a combination of descriptions and photographs. At this point we are looking for raw material.
