Hi,
I am planning to examine longitudinal stability of neural responses across one year. I want to know what analyses can answer this question.
Should we use conjunction analyses or interclass correlation? The conjunction analyses didn’t consider within-person stability. So for instance, if we have 6 participants, their activation level in a brain region may be 1 1 1 6 6 6 at time 1, and 6 6 6 1 1 1 at time 2. So on average, the amount of activation is the same, and a conjunction analysis would be highly significant. However, there is actually no stability at all.
Is calculating interclass correlation a better way to examine longitudinal stability? Or is there other ways to examine it? Thanks!
Best,
Yang
