From the command line you can do it the following way. Or you can put it in a script.
V = spm_vol(image)
spm_image('init', V)
spm_orthviews('reposition', coords)

have you tried right-clicking the image in the graphics window?
Then you can choose "mm: x y z" to enter exact coordinates (see attached screenshot).
