Another Design Advanced Research Training (DART) workshop for PhD students in design is to be held 13-14 November 2013. This is an invitation for your students to attend this two day doctoral workshop, focused specifically on design students and communications skills (arguing, writing, and presenting).
The DART workshops are hosted by the Coventry School of Art and Design on its Coventry campus.
Full details of the workshop are available on the project website:
http://www.dartevents.org
The event - which focuses on specific needs of design students - is ideally suited to first and second year PhD students (or part time equivalent) though students in the later stages of PhD may find it useful as a refresher.
The event is free of charge, but students will have to find their own accommodation and travel expenses if not supported by their host university.
A warm welcome is extended to your PhD design students. Please pass this message on to them and ask them to book through the website. There are some places left, and they will be filled on a first come first served basis so it's important that they book soon to secure a place. Booking is through the website.
Kind regards,
David
