Are there any lab. using sensitive Tn method in particular Siemens ultra
sensitive TnI to diagnose MI earlier than 6hrs. If so what are your time
scale - baseline, 2hr,3hr...
Our cardiologist are keen to introduce earlier testing to triage patient
appropriately.
Some literature suggest for Siemens ultra TnI. Values are test
dependent.
Change at ? 2hr or 6hr
If TnI below 99% then >33% change -AMI
If TnI above 99% then >50% change - AMI
Absolute change of 0.02 ug/L (20 ng/L) - AMI ??
Absolute change of 0.05 ug/L (50 ng/L) - AMI ??
Absolute change of 0.50 ug/L (500ng/L) - AMI ??
Many thanks for your help!
