Melbourne Cricket Ground, home to Australian Rules footy, Pat, known to we locals as 'The G'. 'Rorting' sort of rowdy rioting I mean but I know it can mean ripping off.
When the teams line up at finals time, they face each other in a long line, to sing the National anthem before proceedings begin. Collingwood in vertical black and white stripes, looked to me like a vast accordion splayed out, hence my conceit.
Cheers,
Bill
