Please pass on the IT staff responsible for PMIP Reporting in your laboratory service. You may also want to look at www.ychi.leeds.ac.uk/pmipunits<http://www.ychi.leeds.ac.uk/pmipunits> which lists data on the 2013 Audit of data quality.
Dear Colleagues,
Following discussion with the HSCIC DTS Team, TPP have been provided with a number of new DTS Mailboxes to support the transfer of messages with SystmOne. The distribution of message transfers with SystmOne across a number of DTS Mailboxes will provide benefits to all parties. Collection and transfer times should improve particularly later in the day, which should mean that acknowledgement messages should be returned to laboratories in a more timely manner. It will also be significantly easier to investigate support issues should they arise and there will no longer be a single point of failure.
A phased approach will be adopted in the roll-out for use of these mailboxes. TPP have recently set up additional DTS mailboxes to improve the speed and efficiency of receiving pathology / radiology results. In the first phase the new DTS address that the pathology/radiology reports should be sent to are listed below. The basis of the DTS address is dependent upon the ODS (Organisation Code) code of the intended recipient GP Practice (SystmOne unit) and are as follows:
Initial letter of ODS code
DTS Address
A
ygm27pm
B
ygm27pm1
C
ygm27pm2
D
ygm27pm3
E
ygm27pm4
F
ygm27pm5
For example, if your pathology/radiology lab sends to a GP Practice (SystmOne unit) with an ODS code starting with ‘C’ then the recipient DTS address should be changed to ‘ygm27pm2’.
Please make the relevant configuration changes to the DTS addresses that the laboratory are sending to for GP Practices (SystmOne) units according to the above table. The DTS addresses currently in use are either ‘b81655hc’ or ‘ygm27hc’. All other addressing details remain unchanged.
In order to benefit from these changes we would ask that the configuration changes are implemented ASAP. Early adoption will see significant improvement. If you have any questions please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Once you have made the required changes please could you also mail [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to advise that you have completed the changes.
A further phased roll-out of additional DTS Mailboxes to cover GP Practices (SystmOne units) with ODS codes start “G” onwards will be advised in due course.
NB: This change is only to be actioned on TPP SystmOne GP Practice Addressing, There is no change to any other suppliers GP Practice DTS Addressing Detail.
Many thanks for your assistance in this matter.
